About

BulkEmailr.com is a directory of email marketing software tools and resources.

We test bulk email marketing platforms, tools and services. Then compare and review them to give you buying and pre set up advice.

My name is Craig Leontowicz and I love email marketing. I have been doing digital marketing since 2006.

I work with clients and on my own side projects full time, including ecommerce, affiliate sites and small business email newsletters.

This site started because of the overwhelming number of tools I use when it comes to marketing and transactional communications.

Personally I have only used a couple different email marketing software. This site is currently a link directory of email options that are available depending on projects type.

I am always looking at what the project is about and finding an email service provider that is trusted and that is priced affordably to help me grow a project from zero to thousands of members and emails.

This site is a work in progress.

Hey there! If you are reading this – Thank you!

Why Review Email Marketing Software?

I have been a longtime Mailchimp customer. But, after I tried Klaviyo on clients Shopify website, I really like some of the differences vs. the two email service providers (ESP).

This led me down a rabbit hole of trying different and ESP’s on every different project I worked on. From landing page lead magnets, ecommerce and SaaS transactional email software, I have dabbled in quite a few.

Most of the review sites I Googled seemed to be generic listicle websites and I doubted many of the authors actually have much experience with email marketing or even half of their email software services they recommend as the “best”

I like trying, testing and reviewing email marketing platforms, tools and services. Then comparing them to give you buying and pre set up advice.

Building in Public

Instead of just talking about how to build an email list — why not show you how I do it.

I might fail.

I have built email lists and not been able to monetize them before.

I have also built small and very profitable email lists.

What I have done so far:

  • Bought a domain name, setup hosting & installed WordPress at Dreamhost.
  • Installed and setup GeneratePress WordPress Theme.
  • Used the free Dreamhost email to create a custom email address to start building my email list.
  • Setup Mailerlite for Test #01 for how to build email an list for this wordpress blog.

Why Did I Choose Mailerlite?

Simply – I have seen it recommended lots on Reddit, so I wanted to give it a try.

It is free up to 1000 subscribers. I have zero subscribers — so this will work.

I also like the simplicity of it.

This is the second website / email list I am using Mailerlite on.
